StripOut Bros

Compactor Trucks

Stripout Bros runs its own truck fleet so waste moves when it needs to. Fully operated compactor and hook trucks turn bins quickly, pull bulk loads off site and keep demolition and construction zones clear — and the same service handles warehouse, factory, office and retail clear‑outs.

Why Choose Our Compactor Trucks

On the right jobs, pairing bins with compactor trucks is the difference between chasing waste and staying ahead of it.

01

Higher payload per run

Compaction lets us carry more in each load, cutting down the number of trips and disruption around the site.

02

Better for tight access sites

Tunnels, basements, CBD projects and constrained loading areas all benefit from fewer truck movements and cleaner aprons.

03

Cleaner loading zones

With less loose waste build‑up, loading areas stay safer and more organised for forklifts, cranes and labour.

04

Reduced transport impact

Fewer runs means less time on surrounding roads and lower fuel use across the project.

05

Support for environmental and ESG targets

More efficient transport and structured segregation make it easier to demonstrate responsible waste handling — waste goes to licensed facilities with documentation to match.

06

Integrated with Stripout Bros bins

Compactors run as part of our full waste solution – same provider for bins, trucks and waste crews.

How It Works

We keep compactor truck workflows straightforward so site teams don’t have to manage another moving part.

01

Assess the job and access

We review site constraints, waste streams and programme to decide where compactors add real benefit.

02

Match trucks to bins and loading method

Compactor and hook trucks are paired with the right bin mix, loading points and equipment.

03

Scheduled and reactive waste movements

We lock in touchpoints with fitout crews, engineers and certifiers so nobody trips over each other.

04

Track volumes and destinations

Where required, we provide simple data on loads, materials and facilities used to support project reporting.

Ideal Applications

01

High‑volume demolition projects

Heavy stripouts and structural demo generating large, continuous waste streams.

02

CBD and tight access sites

Where loading areas and road access are limited and congested.

03

Defits and make-goods

Office and retail defits and end-of-lease make-goods, with waste moving down through lifts or loading docks.

04

Industrial and logistics facilities

Warehouse and factory clean‑outs — racking, pallets, packaging and accumulated hard waste.

05

Institutional and campus projects

Where cleaner loading zones and fewer truck movements help control public impact.

Accepted & Not Accepted Waste

To keep sites safe and compliant, our trucks only carry the right materials. Here’s what we load and what needs separate handling:

ACCEPTED WASTES

Plastics, packaging, cardboard, cabinetry, fixtures, and glass.

Clean timber from framing and fitout removal.

Plasterboard (Gyprock), light metal, carpet and vinyl.

Light construction and soft demolition waste.

Non-asbestos insulation, ceiling tiles, and general site rubbish.

NOT ACCEPTED WASTES

Asbestos (or suspected ACM) and other hazardous materials – these require licensed specialist removal.

Liquid waste, chemicals, paints, solvents, fuels and oils.

Concrete, bricks, masonry, tiles, soil, sand and rock.

Heavy green waste, gas bottles, and pressurised containers.

Any material prohibited by facility or regulatory requirements.

WHY COMPACTOR

Less Waste Volume. More Operational Efficiency

Compactor trucks crush waste as they go, packing more volume into each run. That means fewer truck movements, less congestion at access points and cleaner work areas, especially on tight, multi‑storey or high‑volume jobs. It’s a simple way to take pressure off site teams and programmes while still moving the same amount of material.

FAQS

Frequently Asked Questions

Trucks and compactors raise practical questions about access, timing and cost. Here are answers to the most common ones.

CONTACT US
What is a mobile compactor truck?

It's a self-contained waste compaction unit that crushes construction waste on-site, reducing volume before it's transported for disposal or recycling.

How does it reduce waste costs?

By compacting waste on-site, you fit more material per load, meaning fewer truck movements and lower disposal costs overall.

How much waste can it hold?

Capacity varies by unit, but our compactor trucks are sized for continuous commercial and demolition waste streams. We'll recommend the right size for your site.

What waste can go inside?

General construction and demolition waste including timber, plasterboard, and mixed building materials. Masonry, brick, and concrete can't go in the compactor, but we'll arrange alternative disposal for those materials if needed.

Can masonry or heavy material be compacted?

No, masonry, brick, and concrete debris can't go through the compactor truck. We offer other disposal methods for these materials, so just let us know and we'll arrange the right solution for your site.

Is it suitable for CBD or tight-access sites?

Yes, compactor trucks are ideal for CBD sites and loading docks where space and truck movements are limited.

Does it reduce truck movements on busy sites?

Significantly. Compacting on-site means fewer trips to landfill or transfer stations, which is a major benefit for traffic-sensitive and inner-city projects.

Is it cheaper than skip bins?

For bulk hard waste, usually yes — a fully operated compactor does in hours what skip bins do in weeks, with fewer truck movements. Hire is a simple hourly model, and tipping is charged at cost with the receipts attached to your invoice.

Can it service occupied buildings?

Yes, we service live commercial and retail sites regularly, scheduling collections to minimise disruption to tenants and staff.

How much does it cost?

Pricing depends on hire duration, waste volume, and site access. We provide a clear quote once we understand your project requirements.
